From March 2014 to April 2016, I worked as a Research Assistant on the Autism&Uni project at Leeds Beckett University. This was an EU-funded project with partners in 5 European countries, working to develop an online toolkit to help autistic undergraduates to transition to university and make it through their first year of their degree.

During the course of the project, I completed an extensive review of the literature relating to the characteristics of autistic undergraduates and higher education and technological initiatives and interventions aimed at this group. I was also been heavily involved with a mapping exercise examining current provision and the experiences of past and present students and other stakeholders across the partner countries, and the (participatory) design and content of the toolkit itself.
